Outstanding Achievements in Opera Competition
On the afternoon of September 19th, 2026, during the 2026 Anqing City Youth Opera Little Plum Blossom Television Individual Competition, student Chao Zixia from Class 504 of our Primary School Department, with her outstanding performance of the classic excerpt "Ultimately, the World Abounds in Joy" from the Huangmei Opera, stood out among the 28 contestants from various counties (cities and districts), achieving an excellent score of 9.453 and winning the fifth place in the individual category, being awarded the title of "Outstanding Individual". On the stage, Chao Zixia's singing voice was graceful and her movements were agile, fully demonstrating the charm of Huangmei Opera, and vividly showcasing the profound artistic cultivation and good spiritual demeanor of our school's students.
To be concrete, our school adheres to the principle of educating through art, integrating local intangible cultural heritages such as Huangmei Opera into the campus environment, providing a platform for children to showcase their artistic talents. Meanwhile, not only is this award a recognition of students' diligent practice but also a vivid demonstration of Anqing Foreign Language School's achievements in aesthetic education.
Overall, in the future, we will continue to deepen the education of aesthetic appreciation, inherit the excellent traditional Chinese culture, and ensure that the flowers of traditional opera can continue to bloom on campus.
